The
overall success of this paper was achieved by choosing the right people for the
interview and preparing good questions. I did well because I gather information
that was related to online dating, I interviewed a psychologist and a computer
scientist that gave me a solid structure of ideas about my topic. Choosing
these people was essential to the success of this essay because they have an
authority that creates a trustable source to support the information in my
essay. Asking them the right questions to get the best information for my essay
was also important. My questions had to be very specific and good enough to
build ideas that I could support with their statements, the questions were
created in a long process of research by learning from the topic before going
to the interview, this process helped me because while I was doing my research
many questions arose and I wrote them down so I could have honest questions
that were specific.
I
needed to improve in the fluency of my words and the context of my quotes, this
is something that I didn’t achieve in my first essay. However; I improved in the
following essays by giving the context of my quotes to the reader, this helps
them to understand my ideas and the quote which makes the process of writing so
much easier. Other important thing that I needed to improve was the
interpretation of my quotes, my interpretation was too simple and sometimes I
used almost the same words as the quote was using to create my interpretation,
and this doesn’t provide anything useful to the reader. My interpretations
improved in the following essays by using different words and expressing the
same ideas but without repeating exactly what was already said.
